Suffolk Speaks Launch

Suffolk Speaks Launch

Share your Suffolk story at the launch of Suffolk Public Library's oral history project, Suffolk Speaks. SPL will be recording and collecting true stories from community members throughout the year. Attendees of this first Suffolk Speaks event will be able to listen to prerecorded stories, get tips on how to best share their experiences, and have the opportunity to record their own. For those you can't wait to get their stories out, a live story share will conclude the event. Historian Kermit Hobbs will speak about the importance of recording local history and we will have activities for children of all ages.
