Black History Month kicks off with presenters, local Black business owners, and more! Join Suffolk Public Library in celebrating Black History, achievements, and excellence at the Black History Month Expo.

Storytime for kids
Finding Purpose Session with Natarsha Reid, Owner and founder of Beauty-N-We Health and Beauty Boutique, who will share practical ways to merge health, wellness, beauty and life balance.
Overcoming Adversity Discussion with authors and Suffolk natives Dr. Margaret Tolbert and Jeanice Brown Thomas.
Comic Hero First Look with Willie Cordy, Jr., Fine Arts & Media Professor, graphic designer, and owner of Graphic and Web Design studio, Cordy Studio. Get a first-look into his upcoming comic hero based on a hidden figure in African-American history!
