Kite Festival: Basant [IN-PERSON]
Welcome spring with an early kite-flying festival at Sleepy Hole Park! Basant, also known as Jashn-e-Baharan, is a festival when people in western India and Pakistan welcome springtime by flying thousands of kites. Paint the sky with colorful kites, try some spring Indian and Pakistani treats, and celebrate spring! Supplies will be provided to create kites. Participants are also welcome to bring their own kites. For families.
