ECDC CLASS Training Series

ECDC is offering FREE Classroom Assessment and Scoring System training for educators throughout Suffolk! Each training will be led by a certified trainer with Teachstone, Inc. Options include the introductory Primer for Teachers and deeper dive sessions for infant, toddler, and pre-K teachers. Each session attended will earn participants a raffle ticket to win CLASS materials for their early care location.Registration is required and limited seats are available.  2/20/24 - Instructional Support Essentials for Teachers (virtual)  2:00pm to 8:00pm

Ready for a deeper dive? This full day virtual training Pre-K-focused training helps educators understand and grow their knowledge of why Instructional Support interactions matter for children’s language development and thinking skills. Participants will build a lens to identify effective Instructional Support interactions, use CLASS language to describe effective Instructional Support interactions and explain why they are important to children’s development. Registration is required and all participants should have already completed the Primer for Teachers training.
