Celebrate Suffolk and the people who make it great with the Suffolk Public Library! The library is accepting submissions of photographs of Suffolk and Suffolk community members from different time periods and visual art from current and former Suffolk community members for our Community Curated Exhibit of American and Suffolk History. We will be accepting submissions from June 1st through June 22nd.

Acceptable submissions include: 

• Copies of photographs taken in Suffolk and photographs of current and former Suffolk residents
• Copies of visual art like drawings, paintings, or collages 
• Photographs of other forms of art, like pottery or sculptures
• If you have your first Suffolk library card, we will accept copies of card designs not currently being issued 

Submissions will be displayed at the Suffolk Public Library from June 27th to July 11th. They can be uploaded online here or dropped off at your local SPL branch. If you drop off submissions in-person, please provide copies of the photographs or artwork, not the originals. Copies can be made in the library using the public copiers and library staff will be available to assist.
