Tonight we will participate in Random Acts of Kindness Week.  When we are kind it creates a beautiful ripple effect and causes others to be kind.  The project will be to create crayon pouches to be given with coloring books to children in need. The library will arrange to deliver the items to a shelter.  We will use felt, yarn, rickrack and ribbon.  This program is for 6-11 year olds and parents/adults are encouraged to participate by assisting their child.  (Parent does not need to register themselves, only the child.)  No sewing experience is needed.  Bring your creative ideas. Let's have fun learning basic sewing skills and doing a kind act.
