In recognition of Women's History Month, join us for a celebration of women with speakers, self-defense demos, Mammography Van, art projects and more!


This event is FREE and for ALL AGES!

Speakers will include:
Carolyn Caywood with a presentation on Women in Politics.
CINCH representative Sara Rothenberg with a presentation on Women and Children's health with a session on the importance of normalizing breast feeding.
Life Coach Amy Walton with the presentation  "Watch What You Say to Yourself: The Power of Positive Self-Talk"
Tracey Keller with a presentation on the Girl Scouts and their History (or Her-story)
Also on site will be:
Sentara's Mammography Van: To book your appointment call: 261-5420 option 1
Community art projects
Vendors selling handmade arts and crafts
Women's self defense demos
Information tables with organizations such as:
Girls on the Run
NOW
League of Women Voters
All Girls STEM Society
CINCH
and many many more!
As well as live entertainment with music from The Storyweavers 
We are partnering with our local NOW group and accepting donations of menstrual hygiene products for the "Go With the Flow" campaign. All other products such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. are also being collected and will go to the Genieve Shelter.
