Harlem Night in Suffolk: A Celebration of the Jazz Age and Harlem Renaissance

Suffolk Public Library travels back a century to the Harlem Renaissance and Jazz Age. Dance the night away to live music from our local house band, "The Fam". Attendees will also be treated to a special guest appearance from renowned jazz musican, and producer, Jae Sinnett . The WHRV-FM 89.5 Sinnet in Session host will be delivering his speech "Jazz...Music for Thought",  Come dressed to impress or in your best Harlem Renaissance attire. 

Light refreshments will be served. 

 

A Black History Month Event.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Registration begin 1/31/2020.
