"Tidewater": Climate Change and Naval Station Norfolk [Watch Party]

With floods increasing in frequency and severity, how will sea level rise affect Naval Station Norfolk and American military readiness? In the documentary film, "Tidewater," filmmaker Roger Sorkin explores the urgency of this problema and how the U.S. Navy and City of Norfolk intend to respond.

Suffolk Public Library will live stream the film, registration is required to receive a link for the viewing.

While our keynote address from Earl Swift about his book "Chesapeake Requiem" is waiting to be rescheduled due to social distancing, here's a sneak peek at some of the issues that we will be exploring. Learn more at https://amresproject.org/tidewater-film
