Haunting @ CHK: Curse of Frankenstein [IN-PERSON]

Something horrible has befallen Chuckatuck! Frankenstein's Monster has taken residency inside the Chuckatuck Library!

Frankenstein, written during the Regency era by Mary Shelley, is one of the first and most influential horror books of all time. Join us at Chuckatuck as have fun and celebrate one of literature's best monsters.

Come before sunset for family friendly activites both outside and spooky thrills inside. After dark the terror rises and scares get more intense.  No registration is required to visit the haunted house, but if participants would like to try their luck at the graveyard escape game, they will need to register for a time slot through Eventbrite (Graveyard Escape Tickets ).

Suffolk Public Library invites you to explore other programs in the Passport to the Regency Era, a series of events focusing on the culture of the early nineteenth century (1811-1820).

Passport events and coordination in conjunction with SPL are:  Suffolk Tourism, the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, the Regency Society of Virginia, Stillwater Teahouse, Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society, Suffolk Art League, and Suffolk Art Gallery.
