Teen Adventure Book Club: Fencing [IN-PERSON]

Books come to life at this teen book club! Every other month, read the book club pick and go on a related, hands-on adventure! Food and beverage available for purchase depending on venue. For teens. Registration required to reserve a copy of the book and for additional meeting information, including venue details.

Teen Adventure Book Club activites and schedule:

June 10 at the Tidewater Fencing Club

Try your hand at fencing at the Tidewater Fencing Club and discuss Black Brother, Black Brother by Jewell Parker Rhodes.

August 6 at the Archery Range at Lone Star Lakes Park

Join us for an archery lesson and discussion of Hawkeye, Volume 1: My Life as a Weapon by Matt Fraction (Text by), David Aja (Illustrator), Javier Pulido (Illustrator).

The archery lesson will be led by Kingsboro Bowmen at the Archery Range at Lone Star Lakes Park: 401 Kings Hwy, Suffolk, VA 23432. When you enter the park, turn left and follow the road about half a mile until you see the range sign on the right.
